New Single: 'Sprinting from the Edge of the Ghost'

My new single, Sprinting From the Edge of the Ghost, is out now on all major digital streaming platforms. Co-written with long-time collaborator River and the Diamond Wolfe, the track blends River’s distinctive chorus writing with the core Diff Rokka sound — chopped breakbeats, full-attack vocals, and raw distortion.

It was mixed by Kei Kusama, an engineer I’ve long wanted to work with, who has collaborated with some of my favourite artists.

A little about Kei: Over the past 30 years, he has been involved in numerous album productions as a composer, arranger, programmer, and recording engineer (THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS, Quruli, GLAY, RIZE, DefTech, AA=, [Alexandros], MAN WITH A MISSION, BIGMAMA, KIRITO, etc.).

Currently, he is also active as a live performer, as a member of mode‑rate with Shintaro Imai and RED ORCA with Nobuaki Kaneko, among others. He also works as a live manipulator for SEKAI NO OWARI and other artists.

Since 2024, he has been actively creating music as a solo artist.
